"2024 Advanced Institute on
Environmental Exposure and Health
Impacts in South-East
Asia"
Asst. Prof. Dr. Talisa Niemmanee and Asst. Prof. Dr. Walaiporn Phonphan, lectuer in Environmental Science and Technology were selected to participate in the "2024 Advanced Institute
(AI) on Environment Exposure and Health Impacts in South-East Asia," scheduled to take place
from from March 25th to 29th, 2024. This event is hosted and organized by the IRDR
International Centre of Excellence (IRDR ICoE-Taipei) in collaboration with the International
Science Council (ISC), Academia Sinica, National Taiwan University, National Central
University, National Center for Water Resources Planning and Investigation and Thai Nguyen
University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF).
This comprehensive training course aims to bring together approximately 30 international
lecturers and young scientists from the Asian region, providing them with essential knowledge,
experience, and hands-on practices related to the techniques and methodologies for assessing
air pollution and associated health risks. The program will include theme lectures, interactive
discussions, and local visits.
