The Home Economics program is organizing a preparatory program

for students prior to taking the National Skill Standard Test for Thai Cuisine Chefs, Level 1.

On March 29–31, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the faculty of the Home Economics Department organized a preparatory project for students before taking the national occupational skills standard test in Thai Cuisine, Level 1. This project aimed to provide students with practical Thai cooking skills in advance of the national occupational skills standard test for Thai chefs. Students actively participated in both theoretical and practical sessions to enhance their knowledge and understanding of standardized Thai cooking skills, hygiene practices, resource efficiency, and work time management. This initiative is beneficial for students in applying their knowledge to the standardized tests required by the curriculum, and it took place at the Sodsabsonthichietkasem Building (Building 25), Faculty of Science and Technology.

Furthermore, this project aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically: Goal 4 Ensure that all people have access to inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities. Goal 8 Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all  and Goal 12 Ensure sustainable production and consumption patterns.
