The Home Economics Department, in collaboration with the Pribpree Chef's Table Laboratory Club, organized a Chef's Table event.


A "Chef's Table" event was recently hosted by the Home Economics Team of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University in collaboration with the Pribpree Chef's Table Laboratory Club. This event took place at Baan Khun Wichianpanich, a historic villa in Phetchaburi, and aimed to support Phetchaburi's initiative as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy.

Students from the Home Economics program at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University collaboratively created and served a special dinner that skillfully blended local ingredients with the stories of ancestral heritage. The dishes presented were not only delicious but also imbued with rich historical memories.

The menu featured:

  • Welcome Drink: Rice Mocktail
  • Appetizers: Phetchaburi Rose Apple with Dried Fish and Palm Sugar Sauce, Crispy Pork Wing Bean Salad, Crab Red Curry with Chakram Leaves and Rice Crackers
  • Soup: Spicy Seafood Soup (Tom Yum Talay)
  • Main Course: Fried Rice with Chili Paste, Fluffy Omelet, and Sweet Pork (Khao Phad Nam Prik Long Ruea)
  • Dessert: Palm Sugar Pudding

This event transcended a mere dinner; it was a profound cultural and historical experience conveyed through innovative and contemporary Thai cuisine.
