
The Faculty of Science and Technology is immensely proud that an alumna of the Home Economics program is serving as the resident chef at the Royal Thai Embassy in Amman, Jordan.
Ms. Supreeya Tabhuanong (Chef Namtan), an alumna of the Home Economics program, serves as the resident chef at the Royal Thai Embassy in Amman, Jordan. She has proudly applied the knowledge gained from her studies at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University's Home Economics program to her professional work.
Recently, she was responsible for catering a dinner reception at the Ambassador's Residence for delegates from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Office of the Civil Service Commission. The event's highlight was the exquisite presentation of Thai cuisine, meticulously prepared in terms of flavor, table setting, and elegant dish decoration. The culinary display also featured intricate fruit carving and floral arrangements, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the occasion.
Menu Served:
- Welcome Drink: Nam Kaew Chao Chom (Jao Chom Herbal Drink)
- Appetizers: Kung Sarong (Deep-fried Prawns Wrapped in Vermicelli) and Pla Tuna Phla (Spicy Tuna Salad)
- Soup: Tom Yum Kung Nam Khon (Spicy Creamy Prawn Soup)
- Main Courses: Pandan-infused Jasmine Rice, Green Curry with Salmon and Avocado, Rolled Chicken Steak Stuffed with Asparagus and topped with Holy Basil Sauce, and Kai Son Roop (Steamed Egg with Minced Pork).
