Penalties include imprisonment for up to five years, a fine of four times the product's value, or both imprisonment and a fine, as stipulated in Section 246, Paragraph 1 of the Customs Act B.E. 2560 (2017).

Smoking cigarettes or e-cigarettes on campus is subject to a fine of 5,000 baht, in accordance with the law.
