The research team gave a prototype bongo drum to the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts

and to the Center for Creative Materials for Sustainability (silo@SSRU)

Tuesday 23 January 2024, led by Associate Professor Dr.Chaisri Tarasawatpipat Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology along with Assistant Professor Dr.Chitlada Chumee, Lecturer Dr.Ploy Sai Ohama, Assistant Professor Saowanee Khamphan, Department of Chemistry Science and Innovation field Faculty of Science and Technology Assistant Professor Nopadol Sangwanphet Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Lecturer Dr. Prachum Khamphut Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi and Mr.Santi Apakas, Unity Percussion Company Limited, donated a prototype bongo drum which received funding for a research project in the fiscal year 2022 on "Innovative fiberboard recycled from scrap rubber wood and coconut shell waste for application in the production of musical instruments for export" from the Capital Management and Management Unit increase the competitiveness of the country (B.P.K.) and get the research product of a bongo drum that is made up of a mixture of materials between coconut shell and 2 pieces of rubber wood sawdust to the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts one item will be given to the music department and one item will be given to the creative materials center for sustainability (silo@SSRU) to be useful in teaching and learning and study of alternative materials for the future music industry and thank you to the teachers and students of the music department including the center for creative materials for sustainability for supporting the research until it was successful at meeting room 26109, 1st floor, Building 26, Faculty of Science and Technology.
