The Business Development and Revenue Generation Department of the Faculty of Science and Technology organized a workshop and business matching event as part of the "Thai-International Battery Industry Value Chain Creation Study Tour Project.

Associate Professor Dr. Phanthip Kayee, Deputy Dean for Business Development and Revenue Generation, Faculty of Science and Technology, organized a workshop and business matching event under the "Building a Thai-International Battery Industry Value Chain" study tour project. This initiative was led by the Office of National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO) and took place from May 13-19, 2025, in Shenzhen and Guangzhou, People's Republic of China.

The project aimed to foster collaboration among government agencies, academic institutions, and the private sector. It also sought to guide the development of Thailand's battery industry technology, enabling it to compete sustainably on the global stage amidst economic challenges, business opportunities, and future uncertainties.

A significant highlight of the project was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between NXPO and the China Industrial Association of Power Sources (CIAPS) at The 17th China International Battery Fair 2025 (CIBF). The study tour also included visits to leading electric vehicle and battery manufacturers such as BYD, XPeng, HighPower Technology, and Vision.
