The Faculty of Science and Technology administrators held a meeting to discuss and consider scholarships from the Information Technology Foundation under the Royal Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. This initiative supports a royal aid project providing guidance and undergraduate scholarships in the fields of science, humanities, and linguistics to Wattanatham lak 67 Schools in the Lao People's Democratic Republic (Lao PDR).
On March 10, 2025, at 1:30 PM, Assistant Professor Dr. Chinnawat Sassananan, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, along with Lecturer Dr. Nich Wongsangja, Vice Dean for Administration, and Lecturer Phanchaya Chiaochan, Vice Dean for Student Affairs, held a consultative meeting with Mr. Niphon Chaiyaprueksathol, Director of the Student Development Division at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, and Ms. Thatsanee Phonkla, responsible for scholarships and career counseling at the Student Development Division. The meeting was convened to deliberate on scholarships from the Information Technology Foundation under the Royal Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, aiming to support the royal project providing guidance and undergraduate scholarships in the fields of science, humanities, and linguistics to students of the Wattanatham lak 67 School in the Lao People's Democratic Republic (Lao PDR). In the academic year 2025, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University has graciously offered scholarships to Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn for royal bestowal upon students to pursue undergraduate studies in Forensic Science.
The primary objective of this meeting was to discuss the scholarship criteria, the scope of the scholarships, and the educational support strategies for the students. Emphasis was placed on promoting higher education opportunities and fostering academic exchange between the two nations. These scholarships not only provide educational opportunities for students but also strengthen the academic and cultural ties between the two countries.
