The Faculty of Science and Technology Participated in the Songkran Tradition by Pouring Water and Seeking Blessings from Elders.

On April 9, 2025, the Faculty of Science and Technology, through its Student Affairs and Arts and Culture Division, organized the event "Preserving Songkran Tradition: Pouring Water and Seeking Blessings from Elders." This activity aimed to promote the conservation of Thai culture and express respect towards senior members during the Songkran festival. Assistant Professor Dr. Chinawat Sassananan, representing the Faculty of Science and Technology, graciously presided over the opening ceremony. Faculty members, staff, and students participated in the ritual of bathing the Buddha image and the statue of Her Majesty Queen Sunandha Kumariratana, as well as pouring water and seeking blessings from administrators and senior faculty members. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and merriment, reflecting the strong bonds within the Faculty and beautifully upholding cultural values. The event took place in Meeting Room 26103, Building 26, Faculty of Science and Technology.
