
The Digital Content Management Program, Department of Digital Innovation and Content Management, Faculty of Science and Technology, is hosting a seminar on the topic of "Khon: Thai Heritage, World Heritage." The seminar will focus on the development of digital content to promote local wisdom.
On March 3, 2025, the Digital Content Management Program, under the Department of Digital Innovation and Content Management, Faculty of Science and Technology, organized a seminar titled "Khon: Thai Heritage, World Heritage." This event was held as part of the DCM 2501 course, "Digital Content Development for Local Wisdom Promotion."
The seminar featured Assistant Professor Dr. Surat Jongda (Kru Kai), a Khon expert, who served as the guest speaker. He provided valuable insights into the history of Khon performance and the application of various arts and sciences in Khon, including stage design, lighting, sound, pyrotechnics, the use of Krabi Krabong (Thai sword fighting) in combat scenes, and comedic Khon performances (Loi Dok). The seminar aimed to broaden the perspectives of students in the Digital Content Management Program, inspiring them to create content that promotes local wisdom and cultural arts.
The event concluded with Lecturer Natcha Wattanaprapha, Head of the Digital Innovation Management Program, Department of Digital Innovation and Content Management, Faculty of Science and Technology, expressing her gratitude and presenting a token of appreciation to Assistant Professor Dr. Surat Jongda (Kru Kai) for his contribution as a guest speaker.
